Operations Manager

About us

The Ecological Conversion Group (ECG) is recruiting a UK-based Operations Manager to help our team to work across the Church at local and national levels to respond to the ecological and social crises we are all facing.

The mission of the Ecological Conversion Group is to help our Church, motivated by faith, to respond to the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor. Re-integrating care of creation into the consciousness of Church mission. We work with parishes, schools, religious communities and organisations to encourage creative solutions for long-lasting and transformative global change through localised action. Our work includes retreats, talks, consultancy, network building and resource creation. Taking Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’ as our guide, our twin aims are:

  • To support integral ecology: to help see and repair the inseparable bonds between concern for nature, justice for the poor, commitment to society, and interior peace, in order to:
  • Encourage ecological conversion; the process of restoring this right relationship with our Creator and His creation.

As a small charity, the Operations Manager is integral in achieving our charitable purposes to catalyse positive change in environmental and social justice awareness and action within communities. The Operations Manager will oversee the administration and project management of the organisation ensuring that the ECG has a clear strategy and that our work is in line with our vision.

Visit www.theecg.org for more information, or www.journeyto2030.org to learn about our main project.
